This summer, Las Catalinas is making sure your next family trip is fun. Located on Costa Rica’s Gold Coast, Las Catalinas is the ideal destination for families to experience the fun of a sleepaway summer camp in the comfort of their resort.
Las Catalinas recently announced its first-ever Family Summer Camp. The Live Like a Local at Las Catalinas summer camp runs June through September and features a variety of activities to soak up the summer sun. The travel team at Beach Town Travel curates a seven-day itinerary specifically designed for each family, offering immersive cultural programs, wildlife and nature adventures, outdoor activities, and more.
The summer camp package includes accommodations, daily breakfast, and pre-planned activities including two days of private surfing lessons at Playa Grande and one day of horseback riding with La Estancia. Families will also have a “family free day” where they can pick activities like zip lining at Diamante Zip Lining and Adventure Tour, ATV rides with ATV Tour of the Rivers of Costa Rica, a full day of wellness at Center of Joy, or a boat charter for deep-sea fishing. The camp experience ends with a catamaran ride to explore the coastal coves of Playa Flamingo and Potrero.
