Take a 12-day journey along the most nature-focused tour offered in China and observe giant pandas in three of China’s research, rehabilitation and breeding centers. The research centers located in Sichuan are pivotal in China’s efforts toward growing the panda population and securing the future of the species. Learn all about pandas, what it takes to care for them and the importance of their conservation.
Once at the Dujiangyan Panda Base, guests enjoy a hands-on experience in caring for pandas from helping with food preparations and various tasks performed by volunteers and caregivers.
One of the biggest draws to a Nat Hab tour is the exclusive opportunity to explore the wild and see pandas in their natural habitat. Head to the nature reserve located within the Minshan Mountains for the incredibly rare opportunity to see giant pandas roaming freely.
Giant pandas are typically elusive and try to stay out of sight in the wild, but keep an eye out for other lingering wildlife such as serow, golden pheasants, blue sheep, takin and moon bears.
A new addition to the itinerary this year is the opportunity for an up-close encounter with golden snub-nose monkeys. This endangered species is located in southwest and central China, so get your cameras ready, as this is an incredibly rare opportunity.
If the rare and unforgettable wildlife experiences aren’t enough, the ancient history, natural wonders and incredible scenery along the tour should do the trick. Guests enjoy a full-day visit at Jiuzhaigou — national park, UN Biosphere Reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Trek through forests, lakes, waterfalls and endless natural beauty.

Observe the ancient history, mesmerizing views and unbelievable wildlife encounters. Needless to say, the Nat Hab adventure through China is a once-in-lifetime experience. Take an unforgettable family trip with your nature-loving kids, or head out on a bucket list adventure with your partner. Either way, the tour offers something every outdoorsy, culture-seeking family can appreciate.
