Guided tour operator Tauck recently announced a new offering for family travelers looking for a new cruise selection. Starting in fall 2023, Tauck offers small-ship ocean cruises from New York City to Quebec City aboard the Silversea Cruises ship Silver Shadow. The new 13-day itinerary, Shores of Eastern Canada and New England, includes three northbound Manhattan to Quebec City departures, as well as three southbound trips in September and October 2023.
The new itinerary begins with an overnight stay at Manhattan’s New York Marriott Marquis, followed by a guided daytour of Manhattan. Next, travelers board Silver Shadow for a 10-night cruise to Quebec City with ports of call along the way. Once in Quebec City, guests explore the Canadian city on a sightseeing excursion, a tour of the island Île d’Orleans, and a visit to Montmorency Falls. The trip concludes with a farewell reception, dinner and overnight accommodations at Chateau Frontenac.
“We take great pride in our ability to reveal the culture and history of a destination, and each of our shore excursions are Tauck-exclusive experiences typically led by our local guides in tandem with our own Tauck Director guides,” said Dan Mahar, CEO, Tauck.
The itinerary starts at $8,990 per person based on double occupancy. The pricing includes all shore excursions, Manhattan and Quebec City hotel stays, airport transfers, luggage handling, port charges, taxes and gratuities. Airfare is not included.
