While Hello Kitty turned 45 years old this year, she is definitely not slowing down. The world of Sanrio is alive and well in Southern California, where you can treat your little Hello Kitty fan to a number of fun experiences that help the cute kitty and all of her friends celebrate their anniversary.

Little girls and girls at heart can all enjoy plenty of Hello Kitty experiences around the greater Los Angeles area this fall. There are Sanrio stores located in Japan Town, Universal Studios (tucked away inside of the Animation Studio Store) and Hollywood. Your Hello Kitty fans can shop for their favorite merchandise, like clothing, bags, toys and stationery, along with special in-store surprises. You just may get the chance to take a selfie with the famous kitty herself!

Hello Kitty food trucks are slowly making the way around the country, surprising fans wherever they go, but if you want to treat your princess to a sit-down experience, head to the SoCal city of Irvine to grab a bite at Hello Kitty Grand Cafe. Make sure you bring your sweet tooth as the menu features yummy snacks and sweet beverages just as cute as Hello Kitty herself. Mini cakes, donuts, cookies and macarons, all decorated in the super cute style Sanrio is famous for, are all available to order in the restaurant or to take on the go. In addition to the menu, there is also merchandise for sale at the café.

For a more adult experience, head into the cafe’s Bow Room, where you will quickly find yourself immersed in a pink world of cuteness. The Bow Room, which often requires a reservation, serves afternoon teal daily along with fresh fruit, finger foods and sweet treats. After 5 p.m., the room converts into a 21 and over experience offering an extensive cocktail menu — Hello Kitty-themed, of course.

If you missed the famous cat’s Friends Around the World Tour, which just wrapped in L.A. last month, don’t worry — this interactive experience is sure to land in other cities soon. The exhibit, which features five separate pop-up rooms decorated as Hello Kitty-themed locations like her London home and a Parisian bakery, lets you fully experience the world of Hello Kitty and her friends. Check out the website here for news on the tour’s upcoming destinations.
