Sandals Resorts are known for providing luxurious, all-inclusive vacations throughout the Caribbean. The Grenada location is no exception. Nestled on the southernmost tip of the island, the waterfront resort boasts stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and the mountains overlooking the island’s capital city of St. George’s.
Located right on Pink Gin Beach, the sprawling property is lushly landscaped with tropical flowers, native plants and local architecture.
Upon check-in there is no mistake you have arrived in a Caribbean paradise. The open, welcoming floorplan of the reception area opens onto one of the resort’s premier pools with a stunning view of the sea on the horizon. Cushioned hanging chairs await travelers to relax in while they gear up for all the fun Sandals has in store for them.
Starting off your morning is easy at Sandals Grenada with a buffet breakfast that offers an impressive array of cuisines to choose from, including many local favorites like fried bakes, traditional low-rise breads fried crispy on the outside with soft, doughy centers.
Other dining choices include Butch’s Chophouse, the first true steakhouse within the Sandals’ chain, and Neptune’s, which serves delicious, locally caught seafood dishes paired with mouth-watering Mediterranean-style vegetable dishes. With 10 restaurants to choose from, guests won’t go hungry. Six bars are available to top off every evening with unlimited premium cocktails.
The resort is separated into four distinctive ‘villages’ — the Pink Gin Village, the Italian Village, the South Sea Village and the Lover’s Hideaway Village, all with unique accommodations and amenities.
The Italian Village rooms are housed in a luxury, condo-style building with its own solar-heated infinity soaking pools on the balcony for guests to enjoy the stunning ocean view. Pink Gin Village is located right on the beach for easy access to the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea. If you are looking for a more exclusive and private hideaway, book one of the private bungalows in the South Sea Village or Lover’s Hideaway Village, where rooms come with a private pool, tropical garden and personal butler service.
During your stay take advantage of the many watersports available for guests, like paddleboarding, windsurfing and kayaking, all easily accessible from the resort’s private dock. There is also PADI-certified scuba diving, which lets guests new to scuba diving learn the basics (for an additional fee) and allows experienced guests to visit some of the most incredible dive sites in the Caribbean, such as the world-famous underwater sculpture park.
To completely unwind, make sure to book a treatment at the resort’s Red Lane Spa, where you can indulge in a salt bath soak, a night blooming jasmine massage or an ultra-romantic deep flowing water couples massage.
After a long day of enjoying the resort’s activities and your room’s luxurious amenities, gear up for a night of dancing and entertainment. While a live DJ keeps the party going throughout the day, the nights come alive with live music ranging from steel-drum to reggae bands.
The resort offers so many luxurious options for entertainment and relaxation you will want to book your next trip before you leave the property to head for the airport.
