Little Italy Feast of the Assumption

Head to Cleveland’s Little Italy neighborhood for the annual Feast of the Assumption celebration. The four-day festival honors religious celebrations, Italian food, culture and community. Local vendors and live music will also be featured. The festival takes place Aug. 14–17.

Tennis in the Land

Cleveland’s premier women’s sporting event returns for its fifth year, Aug. 16–23. This tournament marks the final stop before the U.S. Open, with 32 of the world’s best women’s tennis players competing. The event also features live music, food trucks and beer gardens.

Cleveland Oktoberfest

Prost! Cleveland hosts its Oktoberfest during two consecutive weekends, Aug. 29–Sept. 1 and Sept. 5–6. Held at Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, the festival features a giant beer garden with food, music and beer. Competitive guests may participate in beer stein-holding competitions.

Cleveland National Air Show

This popular air show takes place Labor Day weekend, Aug. 30 –Sept. 1. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will perform a choreographed show. The event also features food, crafts and aviation-related exhibits.
