The magic of Christmas quickly approaches as summer comes to a close, and families can experience the holiday season in a unique way this year.
Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa continues its annual partnership with The Elf on the Shelf, the beloved holiday tradition featuring Santa’s official Scout Elves. As the only U.S.-based resort to partner with The Elf on the Shelf, the hotel lets families take part in the 12 Days of Christmas Scout Elf Search, with daily prizes and surprises for those who spot the elf. New this year is the addition of Elf Pets Reindeer.
Guests staying on property Dec. 14–25 who want to participate in the holiday festivities will receive interactive clues leading them to the elf’s hiding spot of the day. When children spot the hidden elf, they can snap a photo and visit the resort’s Recreation Desk to receive a special surprise. Official The Elf on the Shelf coloring pages are available at the resort and online, along with additional holiday surprises throughout the holiday season.
Families can add a bit more magic to their stay by welcoming an Elf Pets Reindeer into their family, available as a gift set through the resort’s amenity offerings menu. Surprise the kids with an illustrated storybook, a plush reindeer, a golden heart charm and an official adoption certificate, along with milk and cookies, to create a memorable in-room holiday experience.
“We’re proud to be the only U.S.-based resort to partner with The Elf on the Shelf and are thrilled to bring this beloved tradition back for another holiday season, this time with his reindeer friends, providing families even more ways to create special holiday memories together,” said Fred Findlen, general manager, Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa.
