Travel Tips

With summer coming to an end and schools restarting, don’t let the end of your summer go to waste. Make the most out of it and embark on one of these perfect daytrips from Pennsylvania.

Six Flags

For families looking for the ultimate thrill, head to Six Flags Great Adventure. Located in Jackson Township, New Jersey, Six Flags offers thrilling roller coasters for adventurous visitors, exciting rides for little ones and in-between rides for the whole family. Hang out with Looney Toons, Batman, Joker, Wonder Woman and more while exploring the park.

Jersey Shore

Going to the beach is the best way to spend a summer day — don’t let summer slip away without making a daytrip. The Jersey shore boasts multiple shore points for travelers to enjoy; some of our favorites include Ocean City, Wildwood, Cape May and Sea Isle City. Make sure to get there early in the morning in order to find the best parking, spot on the beach and ensure you make the most of your day.

Hershey Park

All chocolate and candy lovers should head to Hershey Park before the end of summer. Start your day at Chocolate World and take a journey through the process of making some of your favorite treats and get the chance to make your own candy bar. Once you’ve learned the history of chocolate and Hershey, it’s time for some fun inside the park. Enjoy pulse-pumping roller coasters, slippery water slides and more. If you can’t make it before the end of the summer, make sure to check it out during the winter months when the park is all decked out for the holidays.

Sesame Place

Located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, Sesame Place is the perfect destination for a daytrip filled with family fun. Join Elmo and friends on Sesame Street on a day filled with adventure. From exhilarating roller coasters, like Oscar’s Wacky Taxi and Vapor Trail, to fun water attractions, like Sky Splash and The Count’s Splash Castle, there is a ride for everyone in the family.

Interior Upgrades Begin Rolling Out Across United Fleet

United Airlines is in the midst of a major initiative to modernize its fleet over the next several years. After first announcing the plan in 2021, planes fitted with United’s signature interior are finally beginning to appear across the airline’s narrowbody fleet of Boeing and Airbus planes. United flyers are sure to notice these enhancements from the moment they step on board: Each new or updated plane sports remodeled seats, seatback entertainment screens for everyone, Bluetooth connectivity and more, all adding up to a better experience on every journey.
