With the Avengers movies and spin-offs taking over the nation, Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, California, recently opened a new campus dedicated to the beloved superheroes part of the Avengers. Guests can immerse themselves into a world where superheroes are prepared to save the world at a moment’s notice.
The campus offers two action-packed rides where guests can help save the world. First, stop by the newest ride, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. Hop on a Web Slinger vehicle and help Spider-Man stop the raging, replicating Spider-Bots. Use your hands to sling webs at the Spider-Bots before they take over the city. To experience this ride, make sure to wake up early and join the virtual queue at 7 a.m., but, don’t worry, if you miss it you’ll have another chance at noon.
After helping Spider-Man save the world, head over to Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, where Peter Quill and gang are trapped and need help escaping. Rocket has already broken out, but needs your help to free the others. Once you are cleared to enter the building, Rocket leads you through a series of drops and lifts as the others break out of jail. This ride was formerly known as Tower of Terror and still has the same type of ride, just a different theme.
Once you’ve helped save the world and galaxies, head to PYM’s Test Kitchen. The food is delicious and unique. Purchase the Quantum Pretzel to share with your group or share the Pym-nini sandwich and the Not so Little Chicken Sandwich. After that, head over to PYM’s Testing Lab for unique drinks and cocktails.
Before you leave Avengers Campus, make sure to hit the various shops so you can sport your favorite Avenger at home.
