With beautiful weather, plenty of outdoor adventure and an abundance of museums to explore, Phoenix has no shortage of fun things to do for family travel, especially if traveling with little ones. The next time you are in the Arizona capital with the family, be sure to check out these three kid-favorite attractions to ensure your trip is one everyone will remember.

Castles N’ Coasters
Kids always love a good roller coaster and, with rides and games for all ages, Castles ‘N Coasters is the perfect place for families to spend a day enjoying the sun and fresh air. The park is open daily, 10 a.m.–10 p.m., with a variety of passes available, like the Elite Pass for $55, which gives you unlimited access to the park’s thrill rides, arcade games and miniature golf course.

Legoland Discovery Center
Legoland Discovery Center serves as the perfect way to entertain the little ones when you want to get out of the hot desert sun. Not only is it full of plenty of Lego-themed play spaces and a miniature city crafted entirely of Lego, but there is also a 4-D cinema, two rides, a Lego store and friendly Lego characters to meet and greet. Open daily, tickets start at $24.99.

Goldfield Ghost Town
Ghost towns are always family favorites, and Goldfield Ghost Town, about an hour east of Phoenix, is no exception. Goldfield offers more than just a glimpse into life from a bygone era; it features a zip line, a mine tour, a mystery shack and a train ride. There are also fun shops to explore, gold panning and even church services in an old-fashioned chapel on Sunday mornings. The town is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with separate admission fees for each attraction.

United Airlines Celebrates its First Class of United Aviate Graduates

As the only major U.S. airline to own a flight school, United Airlines already hit a major milestone, and now the carrier celebrates another important — and historic — step as the inaugural class of United Aviate Academy pilots graduates, leading the next generation of aviators. The 51 students in the graduating class were majority, at 80 percent, women and people of color — another stride toward United’s goal of training 5,000 new pilots by 2030 with half women or POC.
