The award-winning craft market returns to Virginia Beach Convention Center, Nov. 25–27. The market showcases the original work of more than 175 talented artisans and crafters. With thousands of different crafts and items, it’s the perfect chance to find a thoughtful gift for everyone on your list. Donate a canned good at the door or participate in the on-site American Red Cross Blood Drive to receive discounted admission.
Small Business Saturday In the ViBe District
The ViBe Creative district comprises small, locally owned and operated businesses. Join in the seventh-annual Small Business Saturday celebration, the largest local celebration of participating businesses in the area. Fifty businesses located within 1.5 miles will be open and ready to welcome guests. Guests can also enjoy live music by Big Juicy Entertainment while shopping.
The city’s holiday spirit is on full display with lots of festivities in the town center, Nov. 26–Dec. 31. From the nightly Dancing Northern Lights Tree to festive installations like giant snow globes and holiday selfie stations, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Holi-Rays at the Virginia Aquarium
On the weekend of Dec. 16, ring in the holiday season with special underwater events. The aquarium will be decorated with the most festive decorations and holiday craft stations with recycled items. Visitors also have a chance to meet Santa and maybe even catch him swimming with sharks.

United Continues Its Global Expansion
United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network. The airline added new non-stop flights between Newark (EWR) and Marrakesh (RAK), Morocco; Tokyo (NRT) and Cebu (CEB), Philippines; and Houston (IAH) and Medellin (MDE), Colombia. That’s not all: United also plans to increase flights to popular worldwide destinations including Hong Kong (HKG); Seoul (INC), South Korea; and Porto (OPO), Portugal. Following the recent agreement to increase flights between the U.S. and Chinese governments, the airline now adds four weekly flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Shanghai (PVG).
