Age Specific / Kids

When you’re a traveler, you want to find gifs to share your passion with friends and loved ones. The only thing is, it can get pricey. Here we take a look at some travel-themed gift ideas that won’t break the bank, leaving you a little left over to get something for yourself.

Toddlers

Open the eyes of the kids in your life to the world through Little Passports. Kids as young as 3 years old will have fun opening their suitcases and discovering a different part of the world. Monthly subscription services start at $12.95/month and are age-appropriate: Early Explorers (ages 3-5), World Edition (ages 6-10), USA Edition (ages 7-12) and Science Expeditions (ages 9+). Little Passports is a fun way to show kids the world before they can even leave home on their own.

Kids

A few years ago we saw the Storm Trooper carry-on from American Tourister and knew that would be the perfect gift for our Star Wars-obsessed nephew. Not only is it small enough for on-board storing and weekend trips, but he finds it fun and likes to pack and roll it along himself.

Teenagers

Road trips with the family can test everyone’s nerves, especially if you have a teenager in the backseat with a younger sibling. Send your teenager to his or her own world with noise-cancelling headphones — they can drift away into their thoughts as the sounds of their younger siblings drift away.

Mom

If she’s managing the family trip, chances are Mom is running around getting everything together to take off and may not think about what’s she’s wearing in the midst of it all. Why not get her a fun, easy travel dress she can throw on and look good from morning to night? One we like for winter into early spring is the Aurora Long Sleeve Dress from Toad & Co., and with four colors to choose from, you’re sure to find the one that flatters Mom most.

Dad

Does your dad misplace things like mine does on occasion? A simple solution is Tile Mate, a little device that can help Dad find, well, nearly anything! Attach the Tile to his keys or anything else that’s misplacement prone and use his smartphone to find it. It’s that easy, and gone are days of searching high and low for something that may have slipped between the couch cushions, or even in a shirt pocket.

The 51 students in the graduating class were majority, at 80 percent, women and people of color — another stride toward United’s goal of training 5,000 new pilots by 2030 with half women or POC.
