Just 30 miles northeast of Atlanta, Lawrenceville, Georgia, will host an exciting new event by LuminoCity for family travelers to enjoy. The all-new Dino Safari Festival comes to Sugarloaf Mills between March 28 and April 28, bringing a mixture of prehistoric wonder and adventure to the town.
From dinosaurs to mammoths to saber-toothed tigers, the festival transports visitors to a different era. The festival features state-of-the-art animatronics with light art, bringing these larger-than-life giants to life. The event will dazzle visitors both day and night.
This year’s festival will include an interactive recreation zone of fun and educational experiences like Dino Speedway, Ovriaptor Ride, a Dino Fossil Hunt and Safari Dig, a Jungle Explorer Playground, and more.
The festival will also feature two exhibition areas — Dino Safari and Ice Age Adventure — where visitors can explore more than 50 life-sized, animated dinosaurs and immersive Ice Age animals. Visitors are also encouraged to stop by the Lumi gift shop to pick up dinosaur-themed toys and gifts and even a Lumi souvenir.
A food and relaxation zone complete with food trucks and restroom facilities will also be available.
Come March 29, kids and adults can dress in their most dino-mite costumes. And, on March 30 and 31, visitors can take part in a special Dino Egg Hunt, where kids of all ages can find eggs from their favorite dinosaurs.
Visit here to reserve tickets.
