Bermuda’s Hamilton Princess Announces New Kids Club

Over the last few years, Bermuda has become a new Caribbean hot spot, its tourism growing by leaps and bounds and hitting record highs. If you’re looking for a property to meet your entire family’s needs, you might want to check out the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, which recently announced the June 18 opening of its Prince & Princess Kid’s Club.

An award-winning luxury property known as “The Pink Palace” and the island’s only “luxury urban resort,” it’s always offered fun for the entire family, but this new addition ensures an immersive and tailored experience for children ages 5 through 12.

The new Kid’s Cottage provides fully supervised activities led by the professional camp staff, with programming focused on daily themes and experiential education, for an up-close look at the local culture. Activities are team-based and suited for various age groups.

Daily themes include Bermudian Party Day for a lesson on Bermuda’s sailing culture, traditional island dance and a game of cricket; Artiste Day, with a look at the hotel’s premiere art collection, including an art tour and art-creation party, plus a sand castle design workshop; a pirate theme, for decorating and designing pirate flags and participating in treasure hunts and themed games; Castaway Day, for an educational experience in survival techniques, such as shelter building and emergency signals; Bermudian Ecology Day, which includes a visit to the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute to learn about Bermuda’s geological past, shipwrecks and sea life, as well as a visit to the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo. Other possible themes include sustainability, international cultures, science and team challenges. Other off-property excursions are also planned.

The Kid’s Cottage is open every day but Sunday, and children can participate for a half-day (9 a.m.–12 p.m. or 1:30–5 p.m.) or a full day, with a break for a family lunch. The cost for a half-day is $80 per child.
