Luxury

Just off the Atlantic Ocean coastline, Savannah’s winding rivers and lush landscape offer a reprieve from the Georgia heat, just in time for summer. Although this area is beautiful year-round, there is just something about Savannah in the late summer and early fall. Crowds are fewer, the weather is mild and the city is still alive with activity.

Between the city history, spooky stories and cobblestone streets paired with modern high-end shops and fine-dining locales, Savannah is a pristine destination for fun and luxury, even more so now with the Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts’ newly opened Perry Lane Hotel. After partnering with a New York City-based design and development firm, Luxury Collection Hotel’s newest endeavor is the first of its kind in Savannah.

One of the most scenic and exciting neighborhoods in the city, the Historic District is now home to the newly opened Perry Lane Hotel, offering a contemporary foil to the old-world charm of Savannah. With such a central location, guests can easily walk through the city and explore by foot or horse-drawn carriage.

For guests with limited mobility, traveling with little ones or elders, you won’t have to go far for sightseeing. Easily hit up local boutiques and high-end shops while sightseeing by day and enjoy unique tours through River Street, exciting restaurants and bars by night, as you’re already in one of the most desired locations in the city.

The kids will enjoy the just-enough touch of weird and strange the city offers as well as the natural appeal along the riverside shops. Take in the culture with a tour and explore the city’s most iconic stops, such as Bonaventure Cemetery and Forsyth, before enjoying varied nightlife for all ages.

While the city is literally filled with culture and rich history, the interior of Perry Lane Hotel offers enough to (nearly) keep you inside. Take in the opulent design, reminiscent of the city’s 18–19th-century shipping heritage, with added modern luxury elements.

The hotel’s 12 suites, 167 guestrooms and antique décor showcase the glamour of then and now, including Italian leather touches and deep hues. Make a point to visit the hotel’s glass-enclosed ballroom, boasting breathtaking views of the city before heading out on the town. Read more about the hotel’s unique character, location near Colonial Park Cemetery, Savannah Bee Company connection and more before your next trip to Georgia.
