Carnival Cruise Line recently announced its next wave of 2027/28 deployments, with Carnival Sunrise offering a number of four- to six-day itineraries, great for family travelers and departing PortMiami. Beginning May 6, 2027, the ship will keep offering the popular short-cruise program to The Bahamas with several sailings visiting Carnival’s exclusive destinations of Celebration Key and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay. Multiple itineraries also call on Nassau in The Bahamas.

“Miami has long been a premier departure point for Carnival guests,” said Christine Duffy, president, Carnival Cruise Line. “With Celebration Key and RelaxAway now part of our 2027/28 sailings, guests can create two of the premier beach destinations in the Caribbean while enjoying some of The Bahamas’ most beautiful destinations.”

On Dec. 20, the Christmas sailing visits Celebration Key; Amber Cove, Dominican Republic; and Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos Islands.

Through spring 2028, Carnival Sunrise will sail more than 70 itineraries. Celebration Key features five areas of fun, while RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, provides a more tranquil experience.
