Acting as the inspiration for Vakkaru’s 2026 holiday season, the Silk Road journey invites families to embrace this spirit of discovery and exchange with a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony, guided turtle snorkeling excursions, live music and entertainment, and special visits from Santa Clause at Vakku Beach on Christmas morning.
The program features family-filled adventures Dec. 13 to Jan 9, 2027, and families can customize their day however they please.
For the wellness traveler, dedicate well-deserved time in Merana Spa, where rest and rejuvenation are at the heart of all treatments. For the adventure-seeking traveler, participate in activities like a guided house reef dive, yacht cruise among dolphins and self-guided exploration of Baa Atoll.

Come together at night for a family dinner drawing inspiration from cultures along and beyond the historic routes on the Silk Road. Discover everything from Korean barbecue and Nikkei-inspired menus to Spanish tapas, Southeast Asian flavors and lobster dinners by the sea.
