For Pixar movie lovers looking for the ultimate family travel, Disney Cruise Line recently announced Pixar Day at Sea, the cruise line’s newest set of theme cruises. Set to sail January–March 2023 on Disney Fantasy, these themed cruises will sail in the eastern and western Caribbean. Each cruise will also stop at Disney’s private island resort Castaway Cove.
Guests will enjoy themed dining, dance parties, character encounters and deck parties. Pixar Day at Sea takes some of the most beloved films to the seas including Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Monsters, Inc., Toy Story, Inside Out and Up. A theatrical musical performance following Miguel and his family from the film Coco will also take place.
Character encounters will be one of the most highly anticipated events on the cruise. From meeting Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Bo Peep from Toy Story to encountering Sully, Mike and Boo from Monsters, Inc., passengers will have many opportunities to meet their favorite Pixar characters.
In addition to exciting encounters with movie characters, guests can also take part in an interactive dining experience hosted by Woody, Jesse and Bullseye from Toy Story.
This Pixar-themed dinner will include dishes inspired by the Pixar Animation Studios’ California locale. It will also feature dishes influenced by the studio’s Animator’s Palate where guests can see characters from Finding Nemo and even have interactive conversations with Crush.
