Love the idea of a cycling tour, but don’t think your leg muscles are up to it? The good news is e-bikes are increasingly available on trips across the globe.

Here are seven bike tours where you can find an electric ride:

E-MTB Safari in Namibia

This new tour from H+I Adventures will take you across sand dunes, along dry streambeds and rocky Jeep tracks, and past shipwrecks and surf on the Skeleton Coast in Namibia. From the saddle of an e-mountain bike, watch for elephants, giraffes, zebras and oryx, and connect with local communities along the way.

The Natchez Trace Path

The Natchez Trace Path, which runs through Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi, was once a Native American trail also used by explorers, trappers and traders, postal workers and Civil War soldiers. Cycle of Life Adventures offers e-bike tours of the path four times a year, putting the otherwise daunting trip within reach for cyclists who need a little help with the daily mileage challenge.

Tourissimo in Tuscany

Fans of Frances Mayes’ bestseller Under the Tuscan Sun can see the beauty of Italy’s Tuscany region on an e-bike via Tourissimo’s cycling tour. Attractions along the way include Cortona, the picturesque hill town made famous by the book, as well as abbeys, thermal springs and wineries in the countryside outside Pienza.

E-MTB Tour of the Alps

If you never thought you could tackle the mountain passes in Switzerland, H+I Adventures new E-MTB Tour of the Alps should be on your radar. Riders will traverse the Graubunden region by e-mountain bike, with breaks for lunch and post-ride dinners with wine and local specialties.

Ride & Seek Bicycle Adventures Across Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily

There are three weeklong cycling tours across Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily riders can choose from on an e-bike Ride & Seek Bicycle Adventures journey. The tours explore the history, food, architecture and traditions of these Mediterranean islands, as riders wend their way through the rugged interiors, white beaches and turquoise waters.

Vermont with Cycle of Life Adventures

If it’s New England charm you want, consider an e-bike ride through more than a dozen covered bridges on a tour of Vermont with Cycle of Life Adventures. The ride passes through Montpelier, Stowe, Middlebury and Woodstock, climbing from river valleys over the Green Mountains.

Grasshopper Adventures’ Bike Taiwan tour

On Grasshopper Adventures’ Bike Taiwan tour, guests cycle the length of the country, from the northern capital, Taipei, to the southern tip. Along the way, they take in the beauty of East Taiwan’s rugged Pacific coast, exotic hot springs and valleys like the stunning Taroko Gorge.
