just upgraded the family travel game, launching a new partnership with Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi theme park. Etihad’s new Little VIP campaign aims to make travel with children as easy and enjoyable as possible. Familiar characters including Scooby-Doo, Sylvester and Tweety Bird can be found adorning children’s activity packs given to guests traveling on longer Etihad flights.
The children’s gifts have three age ranges: infants up to 2 years old; young travelers aged 3 to 8; and tweens and teens, 9 to 13. In the youngest age set, parents receive a soft fleece blanket with Tweety, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Sylvester, while the middle age range comes with a drawstring bag with an activity book, crayons, memory card game and passport holder. Older kids enjoy a Scooby-Doo-themed backpack with a Museum of Mysteries board game.

There are also family-friendly elements throughout the Etihad journey, like a dedicated family check-in space at Abu Dhabi International Airport and a small set of stairs at check-in counters to help youngsters stay engaged in the process. Children receive meals first onboard, complete with Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi-themed dining ware and featuring kid favorites like waffles and pasta with meatballs. A bespoke children’s selection of in-flight entertainment delights with Warner Bros. movies and TV shows like Space Jam, Justice League and The Flintstones.
All the amenities meet with Etihad’s sustainability goals; the gifts are designed to be taken with passengers and without the need for single-use plastics.
