A new immersive exhibition opens today in Atlanta, Georgia, giving family travelers the rare chance to step inside the International Space Station, one of the most extraordinary places humans have ever lived. The International Space Station has hosted the longest continuous presence of humans in space, operating since 2000. The ISS orbits about 250 miles above Earth, circling the planet around every 93 minutes.
The exhibition, called Space Explorers: The Infinite, is based on the documentary series Space Explorers: The ISS Experience. Hosted at Pullman Yards, the exhibition brings visitors through life aboard the ISS with cutting-edge virtual reality and cinematic storytelling captured in space with real astronauts. The exhibition also lets visitors witness Earth from orbit and experience first-hand what daily life in space is like. Visitors can expect 360-degree videos and an intimate look at the lives of crew on the ISS.
Allocate about 45 minutes to explore the exhibition. The exhibition is open to visitors 8 years and older. Tickets are $25.60 for adults, $18 for kids aged 8–15, and $22 for students and seniors. There’s also a family bundle option for two adults and at minimum one child.
