Rancho La Puerta serves as the stage for some of the world’s top touring folk artists during the annual Folk Festival, June 17–24. In addition to live concerts, guests can enjoy artist talks, workshops, live recording sessions and more. Featured musicians include Chris Pierce, Mary Gauthier, Kyshona, Steve Poltz and Phoebe Hunt.

New Summer Classes and Sunset Hikes
The hotel offers new summer sunset hikes, allowing families to reflect in nature and take in their surroundings. Guests can choose from a variety of hike options suited to all levels. Hikes traverse meadows, streams and even the boulder-garden foothills of Mount Kuchumaa. Other classes offered at Rancho La Puerta include yoga classes and low-impact water workout classes.
The whole family can enjoy an entire week dedicated to the best experiences the resort and region have to offer. July 29–Aug. 5, Family Week welcomes children ages 7 and up to enjoy classic camp activities, hiking, fiestas and more. Kids can also play sports, create art and participate in other adventures, while parents practice yoga and indulge in spa treatments.

Summer Solstice Ceremony
Occurring June 21 this year, the summer solstice is a special occasion at Rancho La Puerta. For this phenomenon, poetry leads guests on a guided meditation and ceremony.
Foodies can’t miss Rancho La Puerta’s Culinary Week, in which the hotel celebrates the vibrant flavors of Baja California cuisine.
