Although Halloween is going to look a little bit different this year, there’s no reason you can’t dress up with the family. Whether you’re staying in, going out or a variation of the two, these costume ideas could be homemade out of everyday materials or objects around the house.

Each person in the family could be a different character from The Little Mermaid, including Ursula, King Triton, Ariel and faithful sidekicks, Sebastian and Flounder.

The Wizard of Oz

Last Halloween, country music star Thomas Rhett and his family dressed up as the Wizard of Oz gang and inspired many families to do the same. The characters are adorable and the storyline teaches the kids a valuable lesson.

Go the classic route and be Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the other classic toys, or dress up as the villains or other supporting characters from each movie. Although your kids may be too young to know this movie, it would be an adorable costume for the young ones and a great family photo opportunity.
