Head to this glamorous neighborhood to witness a winter wonderland of Christmas lights. Less than a 10-minute walk from the Bond Street tube station, Mayfair’s Mount Street will illuminate its 63,000 lights at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 17. Festivities starting at 5:30 p.m. lead up to the lights turning on, with market stalls, music, pop-up food and drink stalls and late-night shopping opportunities available. Also in this neighborhood lies Connaught Hotel, and this luxurious property plans to unveil its iconic Christmas tree on the same day.

See some of London’s most fantastic light displays with Golden Tours. This year’s installation sees a combination of different light features, from neon lyrics from Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” to glittering Rolling Stones tongues to colorful palm trees from Carnaby Carnival. Other features include oversized robins, a giant snowman and underwater scenes from Under the Sea. The installation spans Carnaby Street, Foubert’s Place, Ganton Street and Newburgh Street.
