Montage Deer Valley in Park City, Utah, offers travelers a variety of autumnal experiences. Enjoy the fall foliage and family-friendly activities available this season.

Experience Utah’s changing leaves with the property’s Fall Foliage Auto Tour. A Montage guide drives guests to some of the region’s most picturesque locations for prime leaf-peeping opportunities. For guests who prefer a nighttime experience, take part in the Private Stargazing Adventure, where a guide shows guests the stars and constellations visible from the area.

New this season, the property hosts a Pumpkin Archery experience, with fall pumpkins as the target. Guests can get creative and take part in a pumpkin carving workshop, with prizes awarded to the most creative designs. Families can also enjoy a Scarecrow Making Workshop, where guests can bring their creations home or donate it to be displayed throughout the season.

Montage Deer Valley partners with adventure experience company Adventure IO, offering guests even more customized activity opportunities. This fall, guests can take advantage of a scenic hike led by a local naturalist; fly fishing in Utah’s Green, Provo and Weber Rivers with an expert guide; and off-road UTV’ing with a professional snowmobile and motorcycle rider. There are numerous customizable outdoor activities available for the whole family. Options include biking, horseback riding, golf and hiking.

Spend Thanksgiving with the family at Montage Deer Valley. The Grateful Gatherings offer includes a turkey dinner within the privacy of the guest’s suite when booking four or more nights. Valid for stays Nov. 21–29. Dinner is redeemable on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25.

United Airlines Celebrates its First Class of United Aviate Graduates

As the only major U.S. airline to own a flight school, United Airlines already hit a major milestone, and now the carrier celebrates another important — and historic — step as the inaugural class of United Aviate Academy pilots graduates, leading the next generation of aviators. The 51 students in the graduating class were majority, at 80 percent, women and people of color — another stride toward United’s goal of training 5,000 new pilots by 2030 with half women or POC.

Introduce the Family to Saudi Culture at the AlUla Camel Cup

Visiting Saudi Arabia means introducing the family to a country rich in culture and history, giving the kids experiences they won’t get anywhere else in the world. I spent several years living as an expat in this desert kingdom, and the experiences I had were not only completely unique but also helped shape my perspective on the world today.
