National Geographic’s Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience opens for family travelers at SoWa Power Station in Boston, Massachusetts, on July 8.

The limited engagement brings visitors back in time to Ancient Egypt. Meet Ancient Egyptian gods Ra and Anubis before entering King Tut’s burial chamber. There are nine interactive galleries to explore, each delving into the story of King Tut’s life and death.

Beyond King Tut brings together some of that same team along with the all-stars of immersive art to present one of the world’s most fascinating stories in a whole new way, with no boundaries! Tickets are timed and dated. Advance ticket purchase is encouraged. Pricing starts at $32.50 for adults and $22.50 for children ages 5–15. Discounts apply to seniors, military members and groups. Family rates are also available. VIP tickets include anytime entry, special merchandise and entry to the award-winning Tutankhamun: Enter the Tomb virtual reality companion experience. Select Boston-area hotels offer special packages in coordination with this experience.
