Family travelers to Las Vegas will enjoy exploring Atomic Museum’s new exhibit, Atomic Odyssey. The interactive and immersive experience for visitors of all ages delves into the world of the atom and aligns with Next Generation Science Standards to offer a hands-on, non-compulsory STEM learning experience combining atmosphere, technology, discovery and art.

“We’ve partnered with exhibit designers who bring vast experience from Universal and Disney attractions to ensure Atomic Odyssey is both a captivating and educational experience,” said Rob McCoy, chief executive officer, Atomic Museum. “Our goal is to inspire curiosity about the atomic world and give visitors a better understanding of the critical role nuclear science plays in everything from energy production to space exploration to personal reflection.”
Atomic Odyssey brings to life three thematic labs that explore different aspects of the atomic world, including Atomic Structure Lab, investigating the building blocks of matter; Nuclear Reactions Lab, looking at the power of nuclear reactions and the impact on energy production and the universe; and Radiation Lab, teaching about radiation in its various forms and its application in medical technology. The exhibit boasts interactive challenges and activities.

The exhibit also features artwork by James Stanford, the artist behind the new book, The Atomic Kid: An Aesthetic Formed in the Nuclear Landscape. He digitally transforms his dynamic lenticular compositions into art.
