Panama City Beach, Florida, offers winter residents a special experience. New for this season, Beachcomber Barrie’s Bucket List Passport invites locals to explore the destination through interactive programming and events.

“Having lived in Panama City Beach for nearly 50 years, sharing real, authentic recommendations with visitors to help them experience the destination like a local has been incredibly rewarding,” said Barrie Ainslie, director of visitor services, Visit Panama City Beach. “Winter residents may come here for the weather, but they return year after year for the friendships, the routines and the feeling of being part of the community. The Bucket List grew out of those daily interactions—highlighting the little things that make this place feel like home.”
Here’s how it works: Winter residents may pick up their passport at the visitor center. Collect stamps at events and by completing activities throughout the season. Participants who turn in a completed passport receive a branded mug and are entered for a chance to win V.I.P. prizes. Winners will be announced on the winter resident Facebook group.

The season features a variety of events including a Mardi Gras party, music festival and a take on a senior prom, with dates now through Feb. 20.
