Bringing the pets along on your family trip shouldn’t determine where you stay. You don’t have to compromise destination, luxury or service when traveling with your pet — at least not in Miami Beach.

The list of luxury resorts and hotels accommodating beloved pets of all shapes and sizes is growing — so should your list of reasons to bring them along on your next trip.
Small dogs (up to 40 pounds) and their owners can happily enjoy the sunshine of South Beach together at W South Beach. The PAW program at the W Hotel provides a pet-friendly amenity bag upon arrival — complete with toys, treats, a pet tag, clean-up bags and a detailed list of pet-friendly offers and services in and around the hotel. Head out shopping, relaxing on the beach, dining and enjoying the nightlife — all before coming back to food, water and a special turn-down service for your pet.

Another South Beach wonder for pets and owners, The Betsy Hotel is a beachside paradise. Bring the whole family, pup included, and opt for a unique “couples” spa experience while your pet enjoys an aromatherapy massage, healthy snacks and quality time outdoors with you. The dog-stay fee of $150 per pup partially donates to the SPCA in Zimbabwe — so you’ll have more than a few reasons to feel good about your stay.
Don’t forget to bring your pet on those long days out on the town exploring. The Lincoln Road Mall is the perfect destination to stretch your legs, see the sights and shop around — all with your pet in tow. Lined with pet-friendly shops, restaurants and cafés, this strip is the perfect destination to get out and walk your pet. Be sure to leash your dog, as this area can be quite busy.
For those looking to socialize, head to Flamingo Bark Park. This off-leash dog park brings local and visiting pets together in two play areas, divided by breed size. There are plenty of drinking fountains and doggy bags available on site, but check with your hotel before heading out as they should be able to help you prepare. The kids will love Flamingo Park’s large swimming pool, baseball field and playground.

Check out the wildlife of Pinetree Park with the kids and pets. Enjoy the waterfront vistas, natural shaded areas to relax and beautiful palms along a scenic stroll.
Explore the stunning city along a walking tour for the whole family, pets included. Art Deco Tours showcase the vibrant culture, art scene and history of Miami. For $30 per pet, the tour includes water, bowls and clean-up bags. Just call ahead prior to your trip and book your pet and family.
