REI and Hipcamp, a campsite booking company, partnered to launch the Summer of Magic Campout Series, a campaign offering complimentary stays at Hipcamp’s best campsites across the country during peak weekends. Great for family travelers, the campaign also provides outdoor gear packages and guided experiences by REI Co-op.
The campaign aims to make the outdoors more accessible for travelers, allowing to experience the joy of being outside.
To get in on the Summer of Magic with Hipcamp and REI to experience free campouts at top Hipcamps all summer long, here’s all you need to do:
- Get on the list: Sign up with your email and get the Hipcamp app to be notified when new campouts are announced.
- Wait for an invite: Keep your eyes open for campout announcements through summer.
- Race to RSVP: Magic Passes are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis, so you’ll want to hurry to snag a spot within 24 hours. If you don’t get one, don’t worry, you can try again on the next drop.
What exactly is a Magic Pass? A Magic Pass opens access to the best Hipcamp locations on the best weekends, as well as gear packages, guided experiences, and more from REI and surprise guests. A Magic Pass could include a 5-star catered meal in the outdoors with dozens of friends; snagging a last-minute camping spot next to a waterfall during a prime holiday weekend; or arriving at a campsite knowing it’s pre-outfitted with brand-new REI camping gear, dry firewood and a s’mores kit.
