Sea World San Diego may be known for many things — an impressive collection of marine animals, fun shows and rides, and the blue skies and great weather synonymous with San Diego. But what many family travelers don’t know is it is also a great place to experience cultures from around the world.

This spring, Seven Seas Food Festival, one of Sea World’s most popular seasonal events, is back. This special event runs select dates, March 3–April 30, bringing international flavor and excitement to a day at the marine park. Food stalls representing a variety of international cuisines, along with craft beers and wines, will be scattered across the park, letting visitors experience the flavors of the world as they explore their favorite animal habitats, shows and rides. The festival also includes musical performances at various stages set up around the park.

Combined with the park’s newest addition, the Emperor Rollercoaster (which ranks as the tallest, fastest and longest dive coaster in California), and the soon-to-launch Arctic Rescue Rollercoaster (which will be the longest straddle coaster on the West Coast), this festival is the perfect way to celebrate the new beginnings of spring. In between the park’s February Mardi Gras celebration and the Viva La Música Latin celebration coming in May, visitors are in store for a cultural celebration promising non-stop fun for families.
