With summer around the corner, Gaylord Hotels invites family travelers of all ages to take part in its signature Summer of More programming, May 13–Sept. 5. The highly anticipated water parks and pools will soon open for guests to cool off under the warm sun.
At Gaylord Opryland, enjoy SoundWaves, an indoor/outdoor upscale modern oasis with multilevel play structures for kids, several body-drop slides, lazy and rapid rivers, an outdoor wave pool and the FlowRider® Double attraction. The Cypress Springs Water Park at Gaylord Palms invites guests to take part in its recently added adventure attraction Crystal River Rapids, a three-level treehouse water playground, four kid-friendly waterslides and three adult slides.
In Texas, Gaylord Texan boasts Paradise Springs, featuring a winding lazy river, waterslides, a zip line, a 6,000-square-foot family lagoon with a walk-in beach and a multilevel, interactive water treehouse. Arapahoe Springs at Gaylord Rockies includes an indoor/outdoor water complex complete with multiple waterslides, zero-entry indoor and outdoor pools and a 720-foot-long lazy river.
In addition to these fun water parks, guests of Gaylord Rockies and Gaylord Opryland can enjoy summer pool parties with DJs, music, games and prizes. Themed experiences can also be expected this season at Gaylord Hotels. Step into a fantasy world with the brand’s Pirates and Princesses Academy, featuring themed adventures for all ages. All five resorts will also host the Shiny Stash Scavenger Hunt and, at select properties, guests can take part in themed Escape Rooms.
The water parks and themed adventures comprise only part of the programming for 2022. From a light and fountain show to a boat ride to a junior chef’s camp also expected this season.
