Family Adventure Package

Beginning with the fussier members of your crew, kids ages 3–6 can sleep comfortably in the in-room tent with the Family Adventure Package. This two-child occupancy tent is a complete glamping set, including featherbeds, plushy pillows, toys, a drawing board (which the kids can take home), a battery-operated lantern, a picnic table and a planetarium projector to display the night stars in the comforts of your guestroom. Parents can sleep in their own spacious king-sized bed, order room service and enjoy the perks of housekeeping. Room rates begin at $467 per night with the option to add on family fun and entertainment, beginning at $25.

Awesome Kids! Package

For the slightly older crowd, the Awesome Kids! Package is a great way to accommodate and entertain your young children. This package includes two tickets to the city’s only just-for-kids museum, KidsAwesome Children’s Museum of Taipei. This impressive stop on your Taipei tour is a three-level structure, comprised of 13 uniquely themed areas for kids, including gliding on zip lines, building rockets, shopping at the farmer’s market and more. One perk of the package parents can get excited about, it includes daily breakfast buffet at the Café, $30 spa credits at the Oasis Spa, one complimentary minibar item per stay and the option to upgrade your room. Explore Package

For the all-ages crowd, the Explore Package is a great way to get around Taipei and see all the city sites. The package includes a pre-registered $15 EasyCard, which can be used on the city bus system, a welcome drink at check-in, Café’s breakfast buffet and late check-out, so guests can fully enjoy the city’s vibrant nightlife. Prices begin at $310 per night.

United Continues Its Global Expansion

United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network. The airline added new non-stop flights between Newark (EWR) and Marrakesh (RAK), Morocco; Tokyo (NRT) and Cebu (CEB), Philippines; and Houston (IAH) and Medellin (MDE), Colombia. That’s not all: United also plans to increase flights to popular worldwide destinations including Hong Kong (HKG); Seoul (INC), South Korea; and Porto (OPO), Portugal. Following the recent agreement to increase flights between the U.S. and Chinese governments, the airline now adds four weekly flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Shanghai (PVG).

Disney Cruise Line to Offer Year-Round Cruises to Japan in 2029

Earlier this month, Walt Disney and Japan’s Oriental Land Co. announced plans to launch a new cruise ship that will sail from Tokyo in 2029. The ship, to be modeled after Wish, the largest vessel in Disney’s fleet, will have a maximum capacity of 4,000 passengers. The new ship will mark the cruise line’s ninth in its fleet.
