The historic The Inn at Warner Hall recently reopened its doors following a restoration and renovation. The property was the ancestral home of George Washington’s great-great grandfather, Augustine Warner I, also the ninth great-grandfather of Queen Elizabeth II. Established in 1642, Warner Hall is one of the country’s earliest manor houses and reopen to family travelers as of March 5.
“We’re honored to write the next chapter in Warner Hall’s remarkable story,” said Bryan Guillot, CEO, Thomas Lee Group. “This beloved estate has always been a special place where history is alive. While fully preserving the Inn’s legacy, we’ve added new layers of comfort and modern amenities that we know our new and returning guests will truly enjoy.”
Each of the 11 guestrooms and suites are named for a member of the Warner family; read about the room’s namesake in the biographies on display in the guestroom. Each offers enhanced historic accommodations with king beds, Comphy bedding, spa-inspired bathrooms and ElizabethW amenities.
The grounds are ripe for exploration, with a new mile-long running track added and The Boathouse, offering pontoon rides, fishing, kayaking and canoeing, will soon reopen for the season. An intimate spa will be added, as well.
A special reopening offer is available for booking by March 30. Enjoy 20 percent off stays through July 31. Stays include breakfast.
