Within the heart of Peak District in Derbyshire lies Wildhive Callow, a historic estate spanning 35 acres for family travelers to explore and enjoy. Now, Wildhive Callow launches its new Forest Camps led by Wildhive Forest Camp leader Adrian, allowing guests ages 9–12 to experience a fun-packed morning in the estate’s ancient woodland, wild meadows and beautiful gardens.

Kids in the Forest Camp can take part in activities like den making; campfire cooking; introductory lessons on tools, woodland and craft; outdoor art; shelter building; woodland walks; and learning about animal and bug houses.
After camp, the entire family can further immerse themselves in nature through walks on the trails or a bike ride on one of the estate’s many bike paths, including nearby Tissington Trail. Jam-packed days exploring the outdoors requires a relaxing place to stay, and Wildhive Callow’s recently opened treehouses
offer the perfect accommodations for families.

The estate offers two two-bedroom treehouses designed by Blue Forest, and sleeps up to five guests each. Guests are surrounded by ancient woodland and the sounds of nature from morning to night. Within, spacious and charming interiors by Isabella Worsley, two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and an open-plan living room allow families to spend quality time with one another and their surroundings. Treehouses also come with a well-equipped kitchenette and wrap-around deck with a rolltop copper bath. The deck invites families to watch the wildlife and, come nightfall, the stars.
