Do you have millennials in your family — or are you one yourself? If so, Compare the Market, a U.K.-based price comparison website that has been tracking travel trends since 2006 has a list of its bucket list destinations just right for this adventurous demographic.

Seattle offers a mix of green parks and such Instagram-worthy urban attractions as Pike Place Market — in fact the market racked up nearly a half-million Instagram posts at last count — thanks to its dizzying varieties of food vendors

Also in Washington State, Spokane offers the Kendall Yards Night Market, located on the river gorge. Vendors are on hand to offer best fresh produce, organic goods and live music for entertainment each week.

Portland, Oregon, on the other hand, is all about coffee, local breweries and art. Start at Pioneer Courthouse Square, where the year-round food truck scene is accompanied by live music.

Or follow the sun to Wynwood Yard, one of the coolest neighborhoods in Miami. Here you’ll find everything from live music and vegan cuisine to dive bars, one-of-a-kind shops and art galleries.

Speaking of Florida, did you know there’s more to Orlando than Disneyworld? Take in Lake Eola Park, for example, for farmers markets, beer gardens or even a romantic trip on a swan boat.

Pittsburgh is another surprise entry on the list of popular millennial destinations and has earned more than 35,000 Instagram posts, many of the Phipps Conservatory and botanical gardens.

Headed to Europe? In the United Kingdom, enjoy the sometimes-sunny seaside resort town of Brighton. A highlight is the non-profit Marlborough Pub & Theatre, where you can try a pint or tuck into a classic English roast dinner, or head outdoors for classic fish and chips at the shore.

In Copenhagen, Denmark’s capital, check out the hipster scene and colorful houses at Christiania, a neighborhood so scenic it already boasts 166,000 Instagram posts.

Meanwhile, Lisbon is Portugal’s undisputed hipster capital, thanks to its cobblestone streets, unique galleries, cocktail bars and restaurants. For a great view of the city, head up to Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, and try to get there in time for sunset.

In Helsinki, Finland’s quirky capital, the Temppeliaukio Church catches the eye, thanks to its construction out of solid rock. The venue has such great acoustics that it’s a popular location for live musical performances.

In case you’re wondering how comparethemarket.com came up with this list, the company used the Like a Local app to see what local people in each city were recommending the most often.
