September marks the celebration of California Wine Month. Murrieta is located within close proximity to Temecula Valley wine country in Southern California. Visit some of the region’s award-winning wineries.

Oct. 11–17, the week-long beer fest celebrates Murrieta and Temecula Valley’s beer scenes. Experience craft brews from some of the best craft breweries in the region.

 

2021 Murrieta Rod Run

Enjoy two days of classic car fun Oct. 8–9. Bring lounge chairs and relax on the Friday Night Cruise. On Saturday, experience an up-close look at the classic cars. Murrieta closes its downtown streets so visitors can chat with car owners and enjoy local food.

 

Hitchcocktober Movie Nights

Get in the Halloween spirit at Hitchcocktober Movie Nights. Every Wednesday in October, Murrieta’s Reading Cinemas Cal Oaks hosts a screening of a different classic Alfred Hitchcock movie, culminating in a Halloween screening of Psychoat 7 p.m. Other films include Rear Window, Vertigo and Strangers on a Train.

United Continues Its Global Expansion

United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network. The airline added new non-stop flights between Newark (EWR) and Marrakesh (RAK), Morocco; Tokyo (NRT) and Cebu (CEB), Philippines; and Houston (IAH) and Medellin (MDE), Colombia. That’s not all: United also plans to increase flights to popular worldwide destinations including Hong Kong (HKG); Seoul (INC), South Korea; and Porto (OPO), Portugal. Following the recent agreement to increase flights between the U.S. and Chinese governments, the airline now adds four weekly flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Shanghai (PVG).
