Multigenerational

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park, a beloved brand among family travelers and the nation’s leading family camping, glamping and outdoor entertainment brand, recently added seven new locations across the United States in time for summer. With more than 75 franchised locations across the United States and Canada, these seven new sites bring even more fun and adventure to families. Here are new Jellystone Parks open for the summer:

Wichita Falls, Texas

At this award-winning family camp resort, kids can enjoy an interactive splash pad, three swimming pools, mini golf and more. The park, previously known as Coyote Ranch, returns to the Jellystone brand and includes a variety of lodging options such as glamping cabins and a farmhouse that sleeps up to 14 guests.

Augusta, Maine

Formerly Beaver Brook Campground, the new Jellystone Park boasts wooded sites, a heated Water Zone, 18-hole mini golf course, sports courts and playgrounds. The campground also includes a full schedule of activities and character interactions, as well as a half-mile of frontage on Androscoggin Lake.

Jellystone Park South Jersey

Earlier this month, the former Hospitality Creek Campground and Swim Club officially became a Jellystone Park. Located in Monroe, the park includes a 30-acre lake with rope swing, obstacle courses, diving docks, a pool, playgrounds and more.

Stark County, Ohio

This 500-acre camp resort was once called Clay’s Park Resort, situated just south of Cleveland. Now a Jellystone Park, the camp resort boasts water slides, a lake, dueling ziplines, canoes and kayaks. A new water play area and pool are under construction and will soon open.

Chincoteague Island, Virginia

Currently undergoing an expansion and update, improvements include new playground equipment, basketball and pickleball courts, and new enclosures for the park’s pavilions. The campsite also plans to add new rental cabins, furnished glamping tents and RV rentals in the near future.

New Douglas, Illinois

Situated an hour from St. Louis and Springfield, Rustic Acres Jellystone Park includes a swimming pool, two lakes for fishing, a jumping pillow, laser tag, gaga ball pit, hayrides and two playgrounds. The camp resort also hosts themed weekends.

How to Give Back on Your Next Maui Vacation

The island of Maui is known for its sun-quenched beaches and lush tropical landscape, but it is also known for the destructive wildfire that devastated communities in 2023. A few years may have passed, but the island is still working to recover from the damage. One of the best ways to help a destination after it has experienced a natural disaster is by continuing to support the tourism economy in a responsible way. There are great ways to do that through voluntourism, even for family travelers.
