Pack up the car, grab your favorite road trip snacks and set out on the ultimate family trip from Lake City to Navarre Beach. Kick off the road trip in Lake City with a stop at Ichetucknee Spring State Park, a favorite for summer tubing. Afterward, head to Alligator Lake Park for a family walk or explore downtown Lake City. From there, venture west to Navarre Beach. At Navarre Beach, you can enjoy a slow afternoon exploring the undeveloped coastline of Gulf Islands National Seashore, or take a kayak or paddleboarding trip out on the Santa Rosa Sound. For underwater fun, snorkel around the nearshore artificial reefs at Navarre Beach Marine Sanctuary. Prefer to stay on land? Go to Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center and meet Sweet Pea, the resident green sea turtle.
