Rekindle your mother-daughter relationship this spring with a getaway designed for two. Whether you’re attempting to cement a good relationship with your preteen daughter or you feel like you and your mom drifted apart, you’re sure to find a good option among these four adventurous and luxurious mother-daughter getaways.

Rebalance and Renewal in the Himalayan Foothills

De-stress and release your worries when you stay at the award-winning luxury wellness retreat in the Himalayan foothills, Ananda in the Himalayas. The beautiful property is a favorite with mothers and daughters around the globe, as the retreat tailors wellness programs for each guest, allowing you to focus on your wellness goals for the trip, whether you want to detox, learn a new skill or attempt tackling a new challenge together.

The Rebalance and Renew programs take place over five or seven nights, respectively, and include wellness consultations, gourmet meals, wellness activities and use of the property’s hydrotherapy facilities.

Two Countries, One Trip

If you’re all about checking more countries off your bucket list, then you may be interested in booking one of Naya Traveler’s new tours to Guatemala and Belize. These two Central American destinations are becoming easier to reach thanks to new flights from the United States and Naya Traveler can show you the best things to do, see and experience in both.

Marvel at the natural beauty of Guatemala and explore Mayan customs and traditions. In Belize, dive off the coast into the Caribbean waters, explore small villages and observe the wildlife.

Mother’s Day in Mexico City

As you support the favorite woman in your life, support other women around the world. Wild Terrains’ tours put a major focus on supporting local, female-owned businesses with every itinerary. You can book a Mother’s Day trip to Mexico City, where you’ll connect with local female entrepreneurs, chefs, artists and designers. Accommodations are often at female-owned hotels. You’ll meet other mother-daughter travelers and enjoy a level of cultural immersion hard to accomplish on a trip without experts’ help.

If Mexico City doesn’t quite sound like your cup of tea, Wild Terrains also offers a Mother’s Day itinerary in Portugal.

Sweat Out Your Stress (While Getting a Little Culture, Too)

For active mother-daughter duos who also like to get a bit of culture while traveling, an On Foot Holidays itinerary in Greece could be just the thing. New self-guided walking tours take travelers across Greece’s Peloponnese region, for a mix of history, culture and the great outdoors, all explored on foot, at your own pace. You’ll follow in the footsteps of soldiers from the Greek War of Independence, stop in small villages and sample the region’s wine.

Neos Airlines Provides Amenity Kits for Kids

Children’s programming and games are standard on most transcontinental flights, and Neos Airlines is no exception. While the Italian carrier is relatively new to the U.S. market, launching its first New York (JFK)–Milan (MXP) flights in 2021, it now counts Rome (FCO); Palermo (PMO); and Bari, Puglia (BRI) (as of June 2025) as destinations from New York. It has also established a niche as an affordable carrier with premium attributes and a soft spot for family travelers.
