Budget

Young adults and students might feel slighted by the hand 2020 has dealt — they missed graduation ceremonies, celebratory trips and get togethers galore — but United Airlines hasn’t forgotten them: Travelers ages 18–22 can now enjoy exclusive discounts using the United app.

Travelers ages 18–22 can shop discounted fares via the United app for a limited time — bookings are available with this promotion until Dec. 31. Users simply access the app, sign into their MileagePlus account (or create one for free), choose a trip, select “Book” on the bottom navigation bar, select “Discounted travel ages 18–22” and the savings will be applied at check-out. Read more about the offer here.

Another aspect young adults and students will love is the opportunity to reduce their carbon footprint when traveling with United. Sustainability is a major focus for the airline — last year, the airline offset carbon emissions of the first 25,000 travelers who used the flight discount. Read more about United’s conservation efforts here.
