The Convention Hall Christmas Tree in Asbury Park, N.J.

Dive into the holiday spirit in Asbury Park, N.J., for the 10th annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Located at the famous Asbury Park Convention Hall, guests enjoy Christmas music, events and a special appearance from Santa himself. Opening Nov. 25 at 6 p.m., admission is free, but space is limited so guests should arrive early to ensure a good view for the holiday celebration.

Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting in New York City, N.Y.

A list of top Christmas trees to visit wouldn’t be complete without mentioning Rockefeller Center in New York City. The famous Christmas tree lights up 30 Rock with festive lights, music, pop-up shops and cheer Nov. 29–Jan. 7, 2018. Check out the 85th annual celebration, as this event is free and open to the public.

 

Christmas at the Capitol in Pierre, S.D.

For those visiting Mount Rushmore, make a stop in Pierre, S.D., for a beautiful Christmas tree display. Check out dozens of beautifully decorated Christmas trees during the annual tradition Christmas at the Capitol. Visitors enjoy live music and events throughout the month. Check out the official South Dakota Christmas tree, located at the center of the display and decorated by Black Hills locals. Trees will be illuminated and on display through Dec. 26.

 

The Mayor’s Christmas Tree in Kansas City, Mo.

Check out one of the tallest Christmas trees in the country at Crown Center in Kansas City, Mo. The 100-foot-tall Douglas fir known as the Mayor’s Christmas Tree stands taller than the famed Rockefeller Center and White House Christmas trees. Check out the thousands of white lights, colorful decorations and ornaments. At the end of the season, the Mayor’s Christmas Tree will be recycled and repurposed into the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Ornament for resale the following year. All proceeds benefit the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Fund, so guests can share the memory while giving back.

United Continues Its Global Expansion

United Airlines keeps soaring to new heights, recently announcing another expansion of its leading global route network. Following the recent agreement to increase flights between the U.S. and Chinese governments, the airline now adds four weekly flights from Los Angeles (LAX) to Shanghai (PVG).
