Following Orlando’s Walt Disney World Resort’s discontinuation of the Magical Express, Transportation Management Services launched The Sunshine Flyer as a new option for park-goers traveling to and from Orlando International Airport (MCO). The Sunshine Flyer steps in to not only transport passengers between the parks and airport, but also to transport passengers into a place reminiscent of the 1920s.

Whether they’re young or old, travelling in a group or solo, we hope The Sunshine Flyer sparks the imagination and excitement of all of our guests from the moment they step on the bus.”

With old-fashioned passenger cars and train engines, The Sunshine Flyer begins the magic of Disney and a family trip from the very minute passengers board. Designed on the exterior to look like old-fashioned locomotives or passenger cars, even the staff are dressed as 1920s rail conductors and engineers. Throughout the entire trip, the buses will entertain guests. The buses come with bathrooms, USB chargers and three-point seatbelts for safety and comfort for each passenger.
Tickets are available now for service beginning Feb. 1, and must be booked at least four days before arrival. The Sunshine Flyer offers transportation to all Walt Disney World Resort destinations in Orlando, including Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
The Sunshine Flyer also supports the Make-A-Wish Central & Northern Florida, providing Make-A-Wish children and their families complimentary service for their Disney wishes indefinitely. In honor of Disney’s 50th anniversary, for the first 50 days of service, 50 percent of The Sunshine Flyer ticket sales will be donated to Make-A-Wish Central & Northern Florida.
