Family travelers looking to add a touch of education to their next trip should consider new immersive guestrooms at Marriott Hotels around the world, created in collaboration with TED’s educational arm, TED-Ed, recommended for families and friends ages 7 and up. This is TED’s first-ever immersive experience outside of a TED conference. Reservations for The Curiosity Room by TED, featuring interactive, mind-bending activities, are available now at San Francisco Marriott Marquis, with Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park and London Marriott Hotel County Hall launching Aug. 15 and Sept. 15, respectively.

The guest experience begins as soon as guests enter their room, with puzzle elements seamlessly hidden throughout the décor. Solving all the puzzles leads guests to a grand finale of surprises and rewards. The puzzles are customized to the destination and the Curiosity Journal guides the guests on their one-of-a-kind in-room journey. Upon completion, families celebrate with a complimentary dessert in the hotel restaurant.
