Family ski trips just got easier with SnoNav, a must-have navigation app for the slopes. Explore new trails without the fear of getting lost.
SnoNav does the same for skiers and snowboarders that Waze does for drivers. In order to help navigate the slopes, the app launched a free heat mapping feature, allowing users to see critical updates about mountain crowds and activity. The real-time tracking alerts users to resort hot spots and provides an automatic evaluation of live flow statuses. Skiers can view potential high activity on certain trails and lift areas, as well as receive rerouting suggestions to help avoid lines and crowds.
The only app endorsed by National Ski Patrol, Snonav revolutionized the way skiers spend the day at the mountain through its fully tested advanced technology and safety features. Users can expect turn-by-turn navigation, start-and-end-point navigation and live open and close status for lifts. You can even set your ability level or preference for customized ski routes.
“Our biggest motivator is always how we can make skiing and snowboarding a better experience,” said Robert Petcove, CEO and founder, SnoNav. “We’re able to offer robust and unique features because all of our technology is built from the ground up. Mountain routing is complicated and can’t be done using existing technology or data. This is largely why no other player has tackled true navigation for skiing.”
SnoNav is compatible with iPhones and Apple Watches.
