Destinations / North America

Imagine a hotel where there’s a themed room for every one of your childhood-favorite fandoms. Denver’s The Curtis Hotel might come to mind. This downtown Denver property features a pop culture theme throughout, with each floor boasting its own theme — and rooms scattered throughout the property even take this “theme-ing” to a whole new level.

There’s the Barbie room, for example, with its life-size Barbie mural featuring Barbies from throughout the ages. The Star Trek-themed room likewise features a huge mural of all your favorite characters. Prefer to play with video games rather than Barbies? The video game room might be for you. There, you’ll find nods to a variety of gaming franchises, as well as traditional game options, with a stack of boardgames on tap and an arcade machine in the corner.

Other hyper-themed rooms throughout the hotel include a knock-knock joke-themed room, an I Love Lucy-themed room, a Ghostbusters-themed room, a comic book-themed room, a Talladega Nights-themed room and more. Want to upgrade to a suite? You’ll find themes there, too, with themed suites including the property’s Rolling Stones suite and KISS suite.
