Highlights include zip lining through the rain forest, searching for sea turtles, whitewater rafting, hiking, swimming and tubing. Participants will also enjoy a chocolate-making and Costa Rican cooking class, as well as kayaking through Tortuguero National Park. The trip offers perspective on the country’s wildlife and its habitats, diverse ecosystems, and natural beauty. At the end of adventurous days, travelers can enjoy relaxing in hot springs among their fellow AdventureWomen.

The trip is open to family members 13 years of age and older, beginning in the capital of San José with a welcome dinner, before traveling from Tortuguero National Park to Kioro Hot Springs, and ending in Guanacaste for more adventure and a farewell dinner.

Each AdventureWomen adventure includes meaningful encounters with local women, driven by the company’s unwavering belief in the value of women-to-women cultural experiences.
