Multigenerational family travel takes center stage on Star Clippers, currently offering a deal that makes it easy for families to board one of its tall clipper ships: 10 percent off fares for grandparents and kids sail for free! The offer is available for residents of North, Central and South America for new bookings on select sailings in the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Central America.
Star Clippers fleet is comprised of true sailing vessels that sail solely under wind power whenever possible. Children love watching the sails go up and down, while older kids and adults enjoy the onboard lectures and classes. Family members of all ages will love the adventurous and active experiences offered, like hiking, kayaking, snorkeling and scuba diving. At night, the whole family can gather for “sail away,” a truly photo-worthy experience.
Kids will be fascinated to learn Star Clippers operates three of the world’s largest and tallest sailing vessels, with the 227-guest Royal Clipper holding the Guinness World Record for being the largest and only five-masted, full-rigged sailing ship in service today.
Star Clippers sail to a variety of destinations around the globe, with most everything included under one fee: cabin, meals onboard, entertainment, assistance of the cruise director, and transportation to and from the ports via tender boats when not docked at the pier. All ships boast expansive teak decks, swimming pools, informal dining, tropical bars on deck and piano lounges.
