Family travelers to California’s Southland are often overwhelmed by one major issue: Where to stay? Let’s face it, the options are legion. You can stay near the beach for the quintessential SoCal experience, head to Hollywood for an entertainment-heavy stay or book a room downtown for a trendy experience. While each location has something unique to offer, one beautiful destination is ideally located so you can visit all of these Los Angeles areas while enjoying a life of luxury during your stay.
Beverly Hills tends to be a bit intimidating to visitors. It has an air of elegance many think is beyond their means, and while visitors like to pop in for a visit while in the area, they fail to realize making Beverly Hills your vacation hub is actually quite attainable and gives you the perfect central location to experience many of LA’s highlights.
L’Ermitage is the ideal hotel for families to experience the ultra-luxury the city is famous for, but with a family-centric vibe. The rooms are large, giving you all the space a family needs; the rooftop bar lets you enjoy sweeping views of Los Angeles; and special offers give you ways to save year-round.
From your home base at L’Ermitage, you can easily access all the great attractions LA has to offer, like Santa Monica pier; Hollywood Boulevard with its many iconic landmarks; and Universal Studios so the family can enjoy rides, shows and a bit of movie magic.
Despite the great attractions LA has to offer, Beverly Hills gives you plenty of things to see and do close to your hotel. Nearby Beverly Gardens Park features more than 100 pieces of beautiful outdoor artwork that can be viewed while strolling the park or with a curated guided tour. This free walking tour provides insight about both the artwork and the city while you enjoy the peaceful calm of Beverly Hills.
Another great way to enjoy the sites of the city is with a tour by Bikes and Hikes. They offer guided and self-guided biking and hiking tours of the city and surrounding areas so you can experience Los Angeles up close and personal without having to spend hours sitting in dreaded LA traffic.
You can also use your trip to give back by helping victims of the recent wildfires that devastated several Los Angeles communities. Through Feb. 15, Beverly Hills is sponsoring a program that will donate proceeds from dining establishments at seven hotels throughout Beverly Hills to the Boys and Girls Club of Malibu, the Boys and Girls Club of Pasadena, and the California Community Foundation Wildlife Fund. Among the participating restaurants are two eateries at L’Ermitage, Alcova and Costa Cova Osteria.
