Yes, apparently a cruise ship can be cut in half and rebuilt with laser-precision. The more than 36,000-ton ship was dissected in half to make way for the all-new midsection placement in an impressive expansion process.
The redesign upgraded the ship’s interior design, function and overall quality level for cruisers. Seldom attempted and rarely accomplished in maritime architecture, Silver Spirit’s unique upgrade is one of a kind and well worth the wait — especially considering the upgrades it allotted for travelers.

Discover the ship’s eight all-new restaurants in a variety of cuisine options from La Dame, La Terrazza, Spaccana, Atlantide, Indochine, Silver Note, Spaccanapoli and The Grill in addition to Seishin, in existence before the expansion.
